The Master of Digital Design is a creative, studio-based program that grounds students in the fundamentals of digital design, introduces them to its principles and practice, and encourage them to apply new knowledge in their own specialist field.

Caustics 3D - by Peter Smith, James Rendina and David Pennington - Introduction to Digital Design 2009. Modeled on the behaviour of light in water, this system creates complex curves from the trajectories of agents displaced by swarming obstacles. Here surfaces generated in a Processing applet have been edited and compiled in Rhino and rendered in 3DS Max as a possible architectural form.
